A scientific and practical roundtable discussion “Development of cross-border cooperation of Ukraine in the context of European integration: status, challenges, prospects”, which opened the programme of joint international activities on the development of cross-border cooperation, took place in Uzhhorod on February 10, 2020.
The roundtable was moderated by the Dean of the Law Faculty of SHEI “UzhNU”, Doctor of Law, Professor Yaroslav Lazur. He stressed that the issues, discussed at the roundtable, were actively researched at Uzhhorod National University and were extremely important for the development of our region. The event was organized by the Institute of Economic and Legal Studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Faculty of Law of SHEI “UzhNU”, the Center for Professional Development and Training of Civil Servants functioning on the basis of the Faculty of Law of SHEI “UzhNU”, European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation with Limited Liability (TYSA), with the participation and assistance of the Council of Europe Programme “Decentralization and Local Government Reform in Ukraine “.
A training session for the students of the Center for Professional Development and Training of Civil Servants on the basis of the Faculty of Law of SHEI “UzhNU” on the topic “Legal frameworks and European instruments of cross-border cooperation” will take place tomorrow on February 11, 2020.
