Last year we started the project and also faced COVID-19, this is a milestone and we have with Geogold achieved good result and shall carry out important measurements.; We can now start the professional part of project and many geophysical measurements are ongoing and many started. Wells and measurements will be enlarged in the near future, and electrical conductivity and other activities are ongoing and continuing. Huge step and progress with recent and updated data – lot of new information. Data on imagery on GIS platform has been organized, described and accessible to the project partners. Explanation of the data gathered was presented with key findings. Some geophysical surveys will be finished in March, and currently several thousand of samples taken”.

We plan to fulfill this activity as soon as will be possible – at the moment the pandemic situation will improve.TUKE contribute by dissemination of the project – as acknowledgement in scientific articles published in proceedings and journal, although only one is closely related to the topic, is possible to consider them as output of the project.

Stella SHEKHUNOVA, Institute of Geological Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine presented presentation with explanation of the activities. Collection, processing and analysis of original archive data (geological, geophysical, hydrogeological) was performed. A list of reports for 1947-2016 (67 reports) of archive data (geological, geophysical, hydrogeological) of the study area – Solotvyno rock salt deposit, Solotvyno village, Tyachiv and Rakhiv districts of Transcarpathia region was collected and summarized. In order to build a basic integrated geological model and hydrodynamic / numerical mathematical model of the groundwater exchange system, the processing and analysis of the original archive data (geological, geophysical, hydrogeological) was performed:
• The analysis and systematization of sections of Quaternary deposits of 395 ground wells drilled within the Solotvyno rock salt deposit for the period from 1922 to 1982 was performed.
• An analysis of the study of the capacity characteristics of the Quaternary aquifer is carried out according to the data of hydrogeological studies of different years (groundwater inflow testing) in the area of Solotvyno salt dome structure.

Andrea SZABÓNÉ CAP director of Tisza EGTC/Edmunds AKITIS, expert of Tisza EGTC, Discussed next tasks and prolongation of the project, timing and further changes as necessary, based on the reports from partners.
