Judit Jevcsák, Deputy Director of the Tisza EGTC informed the expert partners that during that week the permit was received from the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, which is necessary for foreign experts to enter the Solotvyno Salt Mine and conduct professional research in the frame of the REVITAL I project. Regarding the acquisition of additional permits, on June 1, 2020 Mikhailo Rivis, President of the Transcarpathian County Council, Co-President of the Tisza EGTC, will hold a professional meeting to the leaders of the relevant authorities, customs, border guards, disaster management, mining directorate, etc. were invited. The staff of the Tisza EGTC and the leaders of the Solotvyno City Hall will also take part in the meeting.
The experts of Geogold Kft and the University of Miskolc undertook to compile a precise work plan by June 15, 2020 at the latest, which includes which experts will arrive in Transcarpathia after the opening of the border, about the period of staying there, exactly what field the work to be carried out, the equipment required and the technical and other conditions required to carry out the field work.
The partners agreed to continue the professional consultation next Thursday, to be ready for the opening of the border and the early start of field work under the REVITAL I project.
