A new international cooperation project has been launched in early 2025 along the Hungarian-Ukrainian-Romanian border. HUSKROUA Language APL aims to create and develop linguistic diversity in the region. The main partner of the programme is Tisza EGTC, and the co-partners are the Charity Foundation for the Hungarian College of Transcarpathia and the Identity Foundation of Partium.

The opening event and press conference of the project in Transcarpathia took place on 31 January 2025 in the Győr Hall of the Ferenc Rákóczi II Transcarpathian Hungarian College. The event was opened by Tünde Tóth, Director of the KMF JA, followed by a welcome speech by István Csernicskó, Rector of the institution, who presented the objectives of the project.

The press conference was also addressed by Oszkár Seszták, President of the Tisza EGTC, who underlined the importance of linguistic diversity and cooperation in the border region. Zsolt Kovács, representative of the Identity Foundation, stressed that the project contributes to the preservation of the cultural and linguistic heritage of the communities living in the region.
The HUSKROUA Language APL initiative is co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg programme.
